Carved lapis heart with bead accents on satin rayon rattail cord. 28″ cord can be adjusted in length. Approximate size 5 x 3.8 cm (2 x 1.5″).

The most important mineral component of lapis is lazurite. A number of other minerals may be contained within the stone such as calcite, pyrite and sodalite. Used by some as a protective stone, it is said to be grounding with a strong connection to the earth and spirits of nature.
As a healing stone it is thought to be helpful in ridding nightmares. Also helpful to calm an overworked and over stressed mind. It is thought to dispel negativity and create a peaceful environment.
