This one of a kind B.C. jade carving by Canadian artist Tony Wu features a 3.5″ jade bear reaching for a fish mounted on a natural stone base. The bear has chatoyant marbling throughout the jade and is carved from the bright, translucent green jade that is often referred to as “Polar Jade” as the Polar Jade Mine is famous for producing this quality of jade. The bear is approximately 8.5 cm high, 8.5 cm long and 6 cm wide and sits on a naturally shaped stone base approximately 11 x 12 x 11.5 cm. The fish mounted on the base is approximately 2.5 x 6.5 cm and has etched detailing. The bear is numbered and signed by the artist on it’s foot, and comes with certificate signed by the artist.
