Pendant featuring beautiful iridescent ammonite, the Provincial gemstone of Alberta. The naturally shaped stone has a gold filled bail. Approximately 17mm x 10mm including bale.
Ammonite is a gemstone made of a unique fossilized shell found primarily in southern Alberta, Canada. These marine animals became extinct in the Mesozic era, and some specimens found are as much as 3 feet across. Colours range from brown, orange and red to green and blue.
