Description
This one of a kind B.C. jade carving by Canadian artist Tony Wu features a large jade bear and fish mounted on a rough jade base. The bear is carved from the bright, translucent green jade that is often referred to as “Polar Jade” as the Polar Jade Mine is famous for producing this quality of jade. The bear is approximately 8 cm high, 10 cm long and 6.5cm wide and sits on a rough jade base 4.5 x 15.5 x 12.5 cm. The fish mounted on the base is approximately 2 x 5.5 cm and has etched detailing. The bear is numbered and signed by the artist on it’s foot, and comes with certificate signed by the artist.
