Description
This smooth, polished Amazonite stone was carved into a point. Crystal points are often used to direct energies through the apex of a point. Approximate size 4 x 1 x 1 cm (1.5 x 0.4 x 0.4″), shown with a quarter to illustrate size.
As these are made from natural stones, colours and patterns will vary.
Amazonite is a translucent to opaque feldspar gemstone with a pretty green color. Generally pale aqua, others in the same family range from clear and white to pale yellow. Recent studies suggest that its blue-green color results from small quantities of lead and water in the feldspar. Amazonite is used in jewellery and as an ingredient in ceramics. As a healing stone it is considered to be a calming stone believed to dispel negative energy and improve confidence.
