Carved Prehnite Stone Wand

Description

These round stone wands are carved so they taper and are larger at one end than the other. The prehnite has been polished to reveal the epidote inclusions in the stone. Wands are commonly used for directing energy in reflexology, massage and crystal healing. Pieces vary in size, but approximately 10 x 2 x 2 cm (4 x 0.8 x 0.8″).

As these are made from natural stones, colours and patterns will vary.

Prehnite rarely forms distinct crystals, usually it forms as stalactites or botroidals. Epidote is a calcium aluminum silicate that is usually yellowish green, however in this instance it is the less common, black.
As a healing stone, prehnite strengthens the life force and generally increases and stimulates energy flow. These qualities are complimented by the inclusion of epidote. It aids spiritual communication through meditation or visualization and is a powerful dream stone. It is also thought to be helpful in the healing of gout, anemia and kidney problems.
